Early Childhood

Hear & Touch the Music
(Ages 12 months to 6 years)
Instructor: Tara Griest, MT-BC
A vibrant experience in making music for the youngest musical masters.

Two summer class dates available:
6/12 - Summer Fun
7/10 - Summer Fun

9:30 to 10:00 am; or 10:15 to 10:45 am; or 11:00 to 11:30 am
Tuition: $8 per child per class; no charge for parent/caregiver, but must register.
Location: Music-Armory Building.

Register and pay by 6/5/08 at a discounted rate of $14 total for both classes. Children 11 months and under are welcome to attend with older siblings free of charge; Group rates are also available with advance registration and payment for groups of 10 or more at $6 per child; Adults are free.

Requirements: one adult for every five children. All children in attendance 6 and under must be registered for class.

Each program will feature a demonstration and narration about the instrument of the day, meeting and hearing a professional musician, and hands-on experience with that instrument or a "Hear & Touch" experience with a special topic spotlight. In addition, there will be singing, dancing, instrument playing, and an activity sheet for each
participant to take home.

Join us at Kids Club! Please join us on the first Thursday of each month for Kids Club at Westfield Great Northern. This free event includes either a music, theater or visual activity designed specifically for preschool children, ages birth to five years old. Hope to see you there!
