Women's Board

Mission

To support Beck Center for the Arts in its effort to create a community where everyone can be directly involved in the performing and visual arts, Creating Arts Experiences.

Board Meetings

The Women’s Board meets the third Tuesday of the month, September through May, at 12:00 noon. The meetings are held at the Beck Center for the Arts located at 17801 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood.

History

Beck Center Women’s Board was founded in 1936 under the umbrella of the Lakewood Little Theatre. From its inception, Women’s Board has worked diligently to continue that tradition of supporting and serving the theater community at the Beck Center for the Arts. Through the years the Women’s Board has raised and contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars and provided thousands of volunteer hours to support performances, programs, and day-to-day operations at Beck Center.

  • Ushering Performances

  • And other opportunities as they occur, in an effort to serve and support Beck Center.
