Customer Service Associate
Reports to: Director of Volunteer and Guest Services
Compensation: Part-time, hourly, $12-16/hr.
Beck Center for the Arts is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Customer Service Team. If you enjoy working with people and thrive in a creative environment, this is an excellent opportunity.
Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized and customer–focused candidate for front-facing customer service role. This role supports a variety of services across many departments. Beck Center’s Customer Service staff play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for all visitors. Responsibilities include assisting guests with box office ticket sales, class registrations, and front-of-house support for performances and events.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide friendly and professional customer service to visitors, patrons and students
· Assist with ticket sales at the box office
· Help patrons with class registrations, enrollment questions, and program information
· Support House Management and Front of House operations during performances, exhibitions, and campus events
· Assist with theater guest seating, and lobby management
· Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional front desk environment
Qualifications
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Must be comfortable working with the public
· Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
· Comfortable working with registration or ticketing systems (training provided)
· Interest in or appreciation for the performing and visual arts
· Reliable, professional and team-oriented
· Must be 18 or older please
Availability
Open availability required, including evenings and weekends; schedule is based on performance, class, and event schedules.
